Rabbi David Paskin is known as the Rock n'Roll Rabbi. David has written and produced six full-length albums of Jewish music and has performed around the country in JCCs, Jewish community events, synagogues, day schools, religious schools and camps.
David's first three albums, First Step (1994), Give a Little Back (1995) and Miracles Every Day (1997) were made with David's band Rock Tov.
Rock Tov began when David and Jonathan Kaplan, a friend and tremendously talented musician started making music at Brandeis University in the early 90's. Jonathan continues to make music and inspire from his home in New Jersey.
Rock Tov then became Shirav when Rabbi Menachem Creditor joined the group. David and Menachem produced two albums together and have continued singing and performing despite living on different coasts.
David proudly released his first solo album, T'filati in 2012. David's music can also be found on many compilation albums.
Most recently, David partnered with Menachem Creditor to curate an album of #hopemusic contributed by many of the finest Jewish musicians in the country.
